Alright then guys we have no Bob or Weasel this week plus Chris is unable to join us through work.
This week is our first game in the new league and so we need to hit the ground running. I have no idea what Cuban All-stars are like because Chad doesn’t know them. I think we should play for points this week, we have shown that we can close down teams and frustrate them as we did in our last game against FC Select which was a tremendous performance, so I propose we aim to do the same. Score early and close them down.
I don’t know whether Ib will be there or not so I’m not including him in the starting line up.

I know this is very defensive and I know that Floyd may feel frustrated by being in defence but he is strong there. I propose that we start with this line up and see how the first half goes, if need be he can swap with Adam. There’s no reason why we can’t be more fluid so if people do push up make sure that someone has covered you or you’re able to get back in time, just talk to each other. If Ib is there then we may swap him with one of the CMF’s but we shall go on popular opinion.
John and Adam will there for be urged to get up and support James.
I’m in the process of finding a keeper, Steve may step in or Adam’s Bro may up for it.
We kick off at 8.50 so try and be there around half past so we can sort out money. As far as I know its back in black for this game but could we bring the money for Harris on Wednesday £10 we should have the shirts for next week.

the computer eat my funny answer. The general gist is we's were- robbed.

This Result didn't do us justice.
For the majority of the game we held the Cubans at bay soaking up their attacks and driving them into the corners. All the team worked their asses off defending John and Adam in particular covered the two Ben's when they went forward and vice versa so well done both of you it was a perfect team player performance.
A special thank you should go to 'Jedi' John for his awsome performance in goal both as a shot stopper and his distribution of the ball.
The opositions goal came after they made a sub, (Harris had destroyed an attacker who had the audacity to try and start an attack!!) The new guy ran straight through the defence and scored a cracking goal from a tight angle, the second was an iterception from an errant pass.
All in All we played well everyone is happy with their roles and is performing as such, we're just lacking a little bit of fire power and confidence but that will come.
We have the comebacks of Chris and Neil to look forward to along with the new kits!
Chin up Digglers RTS Europe next who will give us a run for our money lets stay tight and focussed and we should get a result. besides we're not last!!!
